I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to review the book, 1,2,3 Quilt. Next to quilting I love to read, and what is better to read than a quilt book?
When it arrived at my home I had a lovely time perusing it’s pages. Just taking in all the beautiful eye candy. With it’s 24 stylish projects there is plenty of eye candy.
As I delved deeper I found the directions concise and easy to understand. Plenty of basic info for the beginner and tips to help the experienced.
Deciding on a project was hard. There are so many goodies. Fun projects using basics like; squares and triangles, and more advanced ones with circles, hexies, and diamonds. Even a fun project with reverse applique. I finally picked this cute turtle. Mostly because I have never done hexies before and wanted to give them a go. I’m pretty pleased with the results and thankful for the good directions that brought him about.
You can get your own copy of 1,2,3 Quilt at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or Indie Bound. Wherever you get it know it will be a great addition to your quilt library.
That is one book I've seen preview of that I just LOVE the cover. :o) Great insides too and I do love the spiral binding.
Looks like a cool book! Thanks for the review…love the cute little turtle.
I really like the Pixel Pouch. Little squares–just my style.
