Yesterday was filled with my favorite things. The birds singing to me and the smell of baking bread from the local bakery as I went on my morning walk. Quilting with friends in the morning. My dear friends Suzy and Diane helped me baste three quilts. A visit to a quilt shop and birthday lunch with friends.
One of those birthdays was mine. My friend, Michelle, gave me the fabulous plate. Next to fabric dishes are my favorite thing to collect.. After lunch I was off to visit my Grnadma. We had a lovely visit. And I was reminded of how blessed I am to have her in my life.

Happy Birthday! I loved my Grandma… she is gone for over 40 years and I still miss her. We would have had lots to talk about now that I quilt, too. She made some lovely quilts – I guess she was my inspiration. Cherish yours.
