You may remember here I was drafting a pattern for a Joseph’s Coat pillow. Well I’ve been prepping pieces and I’m about ready to start sewing.
I auditioned several backgrounds and have decided on this chocolate. I think it sets off the brights and I think it will look good on my couch. Looking forward to relaxing with this handwork. Does handwork relax you or do you avoid it?
Hand work always relaxes me. It only takes about ten minutes for the soothing to begin. Love your new project.
Your colors are looking wonderfully vibrant on that dark background. I love doing handwork. It totally relaxes me unless there are too many itty bitty pieces.:)
This is really lovely to see those bright and pretty colors set with a dark chocolate background. I hope to learn to like handwork someday. Right now I'm not too good at keeping my stitches uniform.

I like the chocolate with those fabrics. I find handwork very relaxing, but sadly don't have nearly enough time to indulge in it.
Wonderful on that dark delicious background. I tend to avoid hand sewing however I do enjoy working on bindings during football games. :o) Maybe it's calming when my team isn't winning. :o)
Oooh! Aaaah! The chocolate background is just what your brighter fabrics need. It will really showcase the design.
