Happy 1st day of July. I hope you are keeping cool where you are. Here it has been sweltering, over 100* for the past week, with no end in sight. I try not to wish my life away but I am really looking forward to fall and winter. I really hate the heat. It makes me cranky.
In an attempt to keep cool I retreat to my sewing room in the basement. I’ve been working on a few things that I hope to be able to show you soon. What I can show you is this cute little wonky star for Cristina (no blog)
I also escaped with DD to Northern California to see my sister. We had a delightful time. A kind of pre birthday gift for DD. Who is now 13. Happy Birthday Sweetie!
Enjoy your summer!
Stay cool!
You can't go wrong with a wonky star.
I say UG! to the heat. At least quilting is a cool "sport."
I'm with you, I don't like the heat either. And escaping to Northern California sounds like a perfect solution! My family is there, and I always wish I could spend all summer with them.
Used to be stationed in Lemoore, CA- hated the heat. Georgia is usually hot in summer but this year it is wet! Weird this year. Mary Ann
Where abouts in the States do you live? Those are like Australian summer temperatures! I'm with you I hate the heat, especially when it's sustained with no break, even overnight. Your daughter is beautiful.
