Forty years ago yesterday I made my mom a mom and my grandma a grandma just in time for Mother’s Day. To celebrate I spent the day doing things I love. I slept in, well until 6. I went to the gym and when I scanned my card I was sang to. Which caused everyone around me to wish me a Happy Birthday. I have been wanting to try some raw edge applique so I did it. I had asked Jacquie for some tips a while back. So armed with her good advice I made this little wall hanging for my Grandma. I hope she will like it for Mother’s Day. It says, “Grandmas are antique little girls”

I have that book but I paid a lot more than a dollar for it. Lol. I tried one but it’s just not my style. I ended up with unfinished place mats.
I had that bargello book at one time. And I do think a quilt made from a pattern in the book would be something nice for your husband!
