I wanted to have my Be The Good quilt to hang on the wall this January as my family and I were looking ahead to the new year and setting goals. So in true Bailey fashion I put it off to the last minute to get it quilted and bond. Maybe Alex is right when he says, “If you wait to the last minute it only takes a minute.” Well, it took more than a minute but on Dec. 30th and 31st I quilted and bond this little quilt.
Therefore I was able to put it up when I took down the Christmas row quilt. Hope it’s not so subtle message sinks in and my family looks for the good in the world and does their best be a part of that good. (not that they aren’t good now, just looking to do a little better in the new year.)
Love it! There was a little gal that lived just down the road from us in Idaho. She spent a lot of time at our house with our daughter when they were growing up….her motto was "The Last Minute is the Best Minute!" Have a great year!
This is fabulous. I love the double meaning, the use of the black prints in the background, and the orange letters. What a great family motto! Mine seems to be more like "Make your bed and pick up your dirty socks!" (did I mention I have boys?)
Great family message Em. I also like the idea of having something new to put up, when the house feels so empty after taking Christmas down.
Better late than never, Em, and it came out so nicely. I love the message as well.
Such a nice little quilt. Have a lovely new year of creating.
What a great idea!!! That is a fabulous quote
