And repeating my tutorial on how to make your binding fit perfect every time. Leaving a 6″ tail begin sewing binding on. Continue sewing binding around quilt. Leave a 10-12″ gap between the beginning of the binding and the end.

I was in the middle of sewing my binding on a quilt, when I came across your tutorial. (I needed a break)I was approaching the ends, which is my least favorite part. I usually fiddle with it awhile and it all turns out in the end, but way too much fiddling. Being a numbers kinda gal, I thought I would give your measurements/tutorial a try……..happy dance over here, as it worked perfectly!!! Thank You ; )
LOVE the maverick star quilt – and I do my binding pretty much the same way, I love having it all attached to the front at once.

I'll give the binding tip a try, thanks! I always hate that part and so usually do other forms of binding just to avoid it.
