Bee Inspired

I had so much fun with this months bee blocks.  And they have inspired me to start a few new quilts of my own. 

I loved making thes Japanese x and +.  In fact it was hard to stop.  Hence the reason I made four for Michelle.  I might have made her whole quilt but I ran out of the background fabric for the x’s.  I’m now looking through my scraps and planning my own x and + quilt.

These striking blocks for Ann are making think I need to make an all solids quilt.  She has a great tutorial here.

And these fun little guys for Christine will be borders and sashing for the blocks we made for her in a previous round.  I just love pieced borders and can’t wait to see here quilt completed.
