Best Friend Exchange

Last year I asked if anyone wanted to exchange blocks with me throughout the year. Each of us making two blocks one for us to keep and one to share. We each chose a favorite color and those two colors would be our color scheme for the blocks. Karen and Mary graciously accepted. And the BFF exchange began. Now twelve months later we come to a close. The blocks below are my final blocks. They are a little late but will be on their way today. I used the little girls from my Snips & Snails meets Sugar and Spice pattern. I felt our BFF quilt need to have some best friends on it. Karen and I chose red and yellow. All the blocks with the little pieces and precision piecing are Karen’s. She does things I would never dare try. So I’m thrilled that I get to have these sweet blocks in my quilt.

Mary and I chose blue and yellow. What a great combination of blocks we have. I love the friendship flower she made. Her sailboat and house are also favorites.

Thank you ladies for playing along with me. I will miss getting your blocks each month. But I know the friendship we have created will last forever. You guys are awesome.
