Beth over at Love, Laugh Quilt is a girl after my own heart. She generously makes and gives quilts, many of these wonderful quilts are scrappy. It is inspiring to see all that Beth does. Not only does she use her scraps in quilts, she also weaves them into many wonderful projects. When I saw all the wonderful things she was making with her loom I knew I wanted to give it a go. My good hubby gave me one for Christmas a couple of years ago. And with help from Beth I figured out how to use it. Thanks to her these spring place mats joined us for our Easter breakfast.

I have always thought it would be interesting to have a loom and make things like this. I have a SIL who has one but she lives a long, long ways from where I live.
