Welcome to the reveal of the Blue Bird Challenge. As I played with my blue bird flour sack a dresden plate came to mind. I’m planning one making two more and turning them into a table runner or a small quilt.
Cathy had a similar idea. It really is true great minds think alike. That blue bird in the circle is just begs to be framed with another circle. Thank you Cathy for sending me a picture of your project. The yellow coming out reminds me of sun rays and makes me happy.
I am so excited to see what everyone else came up with. Participants please link up so everyone can see. Everyone else take time to see what the participants have created and vote on your favorite. We will leave the voting up for a week at which time the winner will receive a fat 1/8 pack of 30’s fabric. Sadly life has got in the way of a couple of our participants. Hilda and June were unable to finish. Please vote among those that are left. Because captions on the links are different than the names I put on the voting let me clarify. JulieKQuilts is Julie. Big Lake Quilter is Cathy, NeedledMom is Mary. Hey Boo is Lynn. Stitched with friends is Shar. Thanks!
I've been waiting to see what others did with their flour bags. I have one I have been saving, wanting to make something for my kitchen. I'm happy to have some ideas!
These are great! Very fun.:)

Awesome challenge!!! Fun to see what everyone did! XOXO
Wow what lovely work! Isn't it amazing what completely different things people come up with when they start at the same place? Have to say #1 up there is my fave.
