I must say I am enjoying being a member of the Scrap Squad for Quiltmaker. I just love scrap quilts. Playing in my scraps is one of my favorite things to do. Finally the creative process of making the selected quilt my own is a fun challenge.
When I received the newest challenge I knew I wanted to go bright. I pulled bins and you may remember the creative clutter I had going on in my sewing room as I worked on it. I’ll admit it stumped me for awhile. Thank you to everyone who offered encouragement. I think the final product turned out quite nicely.
I’m calling it Candy Mountains and you can read all about my process on Quilty Pleasures.
Bright, happy, fun, sweet. Love the name.
Love it! So bright and cheerful. The name fits too!
I love it! The background really makes the quilt so awesome. It makes all the bright fabrics stand out so. I followed the link and enjoyed reading the process you went through. Thanks for sharing.
I love the bright blue.
It's certainly bright and cheerful! Love reading about your progress and seeing the detail quilting shot on the Quilty Pleasures blog 🙂
