We had our family reunion this last week. If you want to read about past reunions and this quilt I made because of them you can do so here, here and here. We camped. I took J, N and DD up early to insure we got a campsite. Here I am playing Set.
And here is N relaxing at the campsite.
And here is the mess we brought home. Hence the need for a catch up day. We had to get this all aired out and cleaned up. Not to mention the mountain of laundry camping creates.
Oh but it is so worth it. We had a great time.
Fun! We love to camp too. I love the smell of a campfire. I love cooking breakfast outside in cool mountain air. I love hiking and enjoying the beauty all around. I am glad you had fun. It is pretty amazing how much laundry comes back from a camping trip!
ooh! I love that border on that beautiful quilt.
Camping sure makes a lot of laundry. But I would not have missed those wonderful trips for anything in the world. Your family quilt looks great! My verification word is 'absting'. Does that have anything to do with the mosquitos on a camping trip?
Ugh!!!! But…..soooo worth the fun!
This quilt is definitely worth another look over! Good creativity.
Awesome Em! How many family members attend this annual event? Do you have it at a different location each time?
Love your leaders and enders strip quilt. I need to do that! I am so looking forward to our week at Star Valley (not camping, but a little bit like it) where my kids have no cell service and we can just be together without a time constraint. It is good.
