We had a wonderful time at our guild Christmas Party. I just love these wonderful women. First a little showing of some of their fine work. I wish some of these pictures had turned out better. This quilt of Denise’s was amazing. I love all the scrappy little pieces. This was a fun Christmas quilt also made by Denise. I can’t remember if she said she used a layer cake or a charm pack for this. But it was bright and fun.
This beauty was made by Michelle. I just love pinks and browns. Don’t you.
And this Thimbleberries sampler was also made by Michelle. Very nice indeed.
This fun moose was made by Dolores.
As was this cute Christmas row quilt.
And this beautiful Christmas quilt.
And what is everyone so enthralled with here?
Our wonderful entertainment. Denise and Karen wowed us with their quilty rendition of Jingle Bells. Oh you should have heard them. They had us laughing like there was no tomorrow. Wish I had the words, I’d share them with you and spread a little quilty Christmas cheer.
Hope you are enjoying your holiday festivities. Merry Christmas one and all!
Great friends, wonderful quilts, fun entertainment, probably good food, and lots of laughs! What more can you want from a Christmas party!?! Good for you all!!! If you get a hold of the words for the song, do pass it along Em! 😎
Have a great Christmas! 😎
Wonderful quilts! Thanks for sharing. I love that crazy moose wall hanging!
The moose quilt is adorable! My favorite of the ones shown but it was hard to pick a favorite from such good quilts.
I enjoyed the work that Denise did. Scrappy is fun and the closer you get the happier it makes me. I don't know why that is but it just IS! I can't let the Moose go by without a word of honor to the MOOSE Maker, Dolores. She's amazing with her work, isn't she? Looks like Denise and Karen really did a great job of making everyone smile, too! What a great group of gals. Oh, and from this view I'm appreciating the effort the table decorators put into the holiday cheer as well. Great festive event with EVERYONE chipping in. That's when you see that "Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as it is about opening up our hearts." I don't know where that quote comes from but it's so true.
Nothing like a quilty Christmas party!! Wonderful show and tell and I bet just wonderful company! Merry Christmas!
Looks like a fun meeting. I love the Christmas row quilt.
Just wanted to wish you a Merry
Christmas Em….!!!!
what a blessing to have these ladies in your life!
What a room full of talent! Each quilt is different, I'm sure reflecting each woman's individuality. Great fun and thanks for sharing this get together. I long for such friendships but can share it through blogs. Thank you!
