Today is buy and sell day at my DD’s school. For the last month the children have been earning school money to spend. They are also to make something at home that they can sell.We have spent the weekend getting ready. I helped her make some bookmarks. We have fun frilly ones for the girls and BYU and UofU ones for the boys. These are the local college rivals, for anyone not familiar with this great Utah rivalry.
DD has also decided to take some petrified wood that we found while down visiting Grandma and Grandpa.
It should be a fun day. I hope she has tons of success. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.
Your blog is very unique.

Good day.
These are so great – she did an awesome job. And you have been so busy – so glad your show went well

The bookmarks turned out cute. Fun that they get to “sell” stuff. My DD would love that! She loves to draw little pictures of animals and everyone at school wants her to draw them for them.
When I opened this and blew up the photos I literally said: “How Cool!” so there you have it. My full-throated outloud comment! Look forward to hearing how the day goes.
A primary school that my kids went to years ago had “Santa’s Workshop” for a few years. The PTA moms made handmade items that the kids could buy for their parent’s. We kept the prices very low. The kids loved it. It was a major challenge to get enough items made. I was in charge one year. We made over 2,000 items.
Good luck to her. I hope she enjoys selling her (and your) hard work.
Sounds like a great school project. They'll have a lot of fun while learning… always the best way! Hope she really enjoys it!
I hope everything goes great today! Such nice bookmarks and the petrified wood is great! Something for everyone. Looking forward to hearing how the day went.
Encouraging young entrepreneurs! Wonderful! Good for her! I thing she will do well… 😎
