I went to the Dixie Guild Quilt Show while I was down visiting my parents. The following are a few of the beautiful quilts that were on display. I love pinwheels so this was a favorite. This one reminded me of Jacquie’s color wheel.
This one was vibrant.
These were neat. The one in the center was made of wood and the ones on the sides where quilts. I liked the detail and the way the different colors made each feel different.
I liked the quilting in this simple quilt. Sorry it did not show up better in the picture.
This one won a prize for obvious reasons.
A sweet tumbling block quilt.
Dazzling stars.
DD liked the colors in this one.
I like how the colors play in this one.
Love the scrappiness of this one.
These duck are just fun.
As well as these fish.
I loved these trunks to display quilts in.
I’m hoping my dad can make me one for my b-day next month.
I’m suppose to send him a picture he couldn’t see it well enough on my camera. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.
Fantastic display Em, thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous quilts Em…
Love the pinwheels too…I’m making some at the moment..
Love the trunks…great idea.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Bonus that you got to go to a quilt show while visiting your parents. What a lucky girl you’ll be if your dad can make you one of those cool glass trunks!
I should have bought the display cabinet similar to the one you show when I had a chance. It was on sale and a good buy, but I didn’t think I had a place for it.
I can see why the one quilt you show won a prize. Gorgeous!
Oh my heck Emily! I was in St. George for the weekend too and did nearly all the same things that you did! Quilt show, art show, car show! The first quilt in your picture was made by my friend Nedra and is one of my favorites too! Wish we had run in to each other!
Delighful quilts. I adore the duckies, what fun.
Hope you get your chest.
Hia Em, thanks for the FQ draw. I’ve just emailed. Love the vibrant 3rd pic one- those bluey purples are amazing. I wish I could get points so sharp.
The quilt display looks really nice. I find it fanscinating that there just happened to be a show where you were! Is that luck or what?!
WOW…great pictures. Thanks for sharing. I love that quilt trunk too, such a nice way to display your quilts.
ooouuuu…lots of ‘quilty’ goodness there…thanks for sharing!
A wonderful show of quilts Em! Some gorgeous work/creations.
The quilting looks great on that one with the sailboat. It shows up pretty good once the photo is clicked on…
OH my! I love the trunk!!! I shall have to send a photo to my brother. Perhaps a strong hint would get me one!!! lol!
Happy stitchings!
Hi Emily
Gayle Burton sent me your way. She mentioned you had been to our quilt show here in St.George. The first two quilts you showed on today’s post were made by me. Thanks for the compliments!
