Like I said before I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to play with Darlene Zimmerman’s EZ Dresden ruler. I already own her 45* wedge and love it. In fact I taught a class this last weekend in Panquitch, Utah using it. Look what the very fun ladies in my class created with it. I just love seeing everyone’s different take on the same quilt. No two quilts come out looking the same.
I also taught my Playing it Retro and Let’s Go Dutch. It was a fabulous weekend. I look forward to going to Quilt Walk in Panguitch every year. If you have never gone I would recommend it. Everyone is so nice. They offer lots of classes, a dinner theater, quilts show, and other activities. It is close to Bryce Canyon and fishing if you want to bring the hubby and kids, they can go hike and fish while you sew. It’s the second weekend in June so mark your calendars now. And plan for a real good time.
Now for the winner of the EZ Dresden ruler. The random number generater gave me #19, Missfitz63. She said…”Such a happy quilt! I love flowers- great way to use the Dresden plate!” Please send me your snail mail address and I’ll get it out to you. Thank you everyone for playing along. I appreciate your comments. You were all so nice.
It sounds like fun. I have always loved that area when we travel.
Congrats to the winner – those quilt blocks are wonderful!
