I’ve missed traveling and sharing my quilts during Covid. So I was thrilled when Accuquilt invited me to a guest artist in their gallery. I packed up some of my favorites, to share in this scrap quilt show.

The Go cutter is a fabulous tool! I broke my wrist when I was in elementary school. When I do a lot of cutting with a rotary cutter it will hurt. The Go cutter saves my wrist and allows me to do what I love, create beautiful scrap quilts. Not to mention that I see cutting as the necessary evil. The Go cutter makes that not so fun part go a lot faster. Getting it out of the way. Letting me got to the fun sewing and creating parts I love so much!

My favorite dies to use are; the different the strip dies, the multiple HST die, and the cube sets. I have a tutorial that shares how I bust through my scraps using the Go cutter. If you’re interested you might want to check it out. I also like to use it to make strip sets. Not only can you cut your strips. Once they are sewn together you can turn them and cut them into strip sets. It’s the method I use to make nine patches quick and easy.

Now for the scrap quilt show I promised. Hope you enjoy the show!

I’m also have an upcoming trunk show and lecture, you might like to attend. I’m be sharing how you can discover all the hidden quilts in your sewing room. It will be full of information and inspiration. You don’t want to miss out!

I love all your quilts. Actually I have a pile of those stars. I made them last year, and suddenly ran out of suitable scraps. Now I can find them and sew some more. Maybe it can be a quilt this year?
