Amy is having a family dinner swap. So if you are wondering what to fix tonight pop over and see what tickles your fancy. My contribution is Shredded Beef Sandwiches. These are easy, the family likes them and there is usually enough to make tacos or enchiladas with the next night.
Shredded Beef
4-6 lb roast
1tsp. oregano
1 onion soup mix package
1/2 C. water
2 tsp. basil
1 16oz jar of chili pepper( I often just use fresh out of the garden)
Place everything in the crock pot all day. Shred with a fork before serving on hard rolls. Like I said it is also good for tacos and enchiladas.
Enjoy:)
Yum…And such an easy recipe!

Yum!
Yum! That is so doable too 🙂 Thanks for sharing!!
Sounds easy and delicious! Thanks
That's VERY cool! Perfect for the fall.
Sounds good – what is a Jar of Chili Peppers? (Do you have a brand/picture… All I can think of are pickled jalepenos…)
Just read through the last three posts. Your shredded beef sounds yum! I just love the baby quilt your maternal grandmother made. I have one that my mom made for us when we were babies and it is in mint condition – guess I need to post a picture.
Sounds yummy. Good idea.
