Fat Quarter Monday/ Fickle Spring

The winner of this weeks fat quarter Monday is Karen Diane. Congrats to you my dear friend. Let me know which fat quarter you would like and I will get it on it’s way to you. Thanks to everyone that left words of encouragement to me this past week. Little by little I’m going to make my goal. Once again if you would like a chance at a fat quarter you know what to do. I really appreciate your help.

This weekend spring went on vacation or something. I know spring is a fickle girl but really. We woke up Sunday to a major snowstorm. I had to go out and help N cover his newly finished half pipe. He had taken apart the last one. He felt it was too steep. I had told him and his brothers last year when they built it that is seemed awful steep. But what does a mom know? A year later he agrees. Go figure. So we shoveled it off the best we could in the blizzard. Kinda like putting beads on a string with no knot in the end. And threw tarps over it. The robins are all fluffed up trying to stay warm in this chilly weather. Poor things.Played Clue last night with DD. Do you know what she did. Her first turn trying to guess who done it where and with what. She got them all right. That was the quickest game of clue I have ever played. I had told her before the game we didn’t have much time because it was almost bed time. Turns out we had time. She was amazed she had done it. But sad the game went so fast.

I forget. Am I just suppose to leave a comment here to be entered to win the fat quarter?
    Blessings,

Congrats to Karen and you on your continued loss! The snow this last week has been making me crazy! I’m ready for spring –maybe I should say summer, then there won’t be anymore snow 🙂

Oh so chilly and I’m feeling so sad for that little Robin even if they do brave the elements of Nature 365 days a year.

Nothing like shoveling and covering to burn calories by the way. You’re the best Mom to follow that up with a game of Clue, too.

And me, oh I’m so excited to Win! I would like to select the striped fabric please. 🙂 Thank you so much for losing another…

What a lucky girl to guess right so quickly! I love that game. It is so fun to play with the fam. Congrats on being down another pound. That is awesome!

I love clue – at least the old fashioned way! Thanks for leaving the Pansy song on my blog! I love it. I don’t know what to do to enter the Fat Quarter Monday but I love the fabric and it might encourage me to learn to quilt! Take Care and becareful shoveling all that white stuff – you do know if you leave it the sun will melt it away right?

It was blowing so hard I couldn’t even cross the parking lot at church. The weather was so horrible here yesterday. I did make bread though.

We ‘ve got the snow too. It was so cold and frozen outside, but by noon it started all to melt. I’ve seen many many tree fallen and branches broken today.

Did they really change the characters in “Clue”??? A friend told me there was no more Professor or Lead Pipe! Boo Hiss if that is so!

Congrats on the weight loss. It’s great that you are keeping losing at a steady pace. Well done.

Aren’t son’s funny about taking Mum’s advice. At least it only took him a year. 🙂

Ooo Clue- in the UK it’s called Cleudo. The Christmas before last we had a Cleudo themed Christmas where we dressed as a character and even had stuffed clothes for a body and a hunt around the house. Great game! The special moments are the ones we make for our children.

You have robins out already!?! We haven’t seen one around here as of yet. Got another few inches of snow though last night… Not a funny April fools joke Mother Nature!!!

You’ve still got winter and we’ve still got summer, the seasons are being very stubborn.
Keep up the good work with the weight loss.
