It’s a new month and time for a new goal in the Lovely Year of Finishes. I’ve had so much fun playing with my ‘That’s the Way the Cookie Crumbles’ quilt. I’ve decided to make it my finish goal for February.
After pulling the blocks out after a few years of sitting in a bag on the clothes line. I laid them out on my design wall.
Made a bunch of fabric from my crumbs to use as setting triangles.
Then I played with placement of the cookies.
I’ve sewn the rows together and just need to trim things up, find a back and then figure out how I’m quilting it. Any suggestions? Hopefully I can get it figured out and done by the end of the month. Love the motivation this challenge is giving me. Make sure you check out what others are working on.
Just loving this quilt!! I need some cookies too!!
Great project to finish this month. I'll look forward to seeing it.
The made fabric looks great….I think a back in one of the dominate colours from the made fabric would be fun….may be the green or yellow…nothing to patterned….but well done on getting the top finished 🙂
What a beautiful quilt 🙂
This is a beautiful quilt Em. I love the idea.
Emily I love the idea of a year of finishes rather than just a year of starts. I am glad to see you are coming to the Quilt Walk Festival as a teacher.
I love this quilt. So glad I was a part of it. Hugs
wow, that is truly impressive. I really love it. It reminds me of some of the japanese quilts.
Love it! You are the scrap queen.
Your scrappy setting triangles are great. What a good idea, and a great use, of your scraps.
I love scrap quilts. What a great design on this happy quilt. Thank you for sharing.
