There are so many fun activities at Christmas. Decorating cookies with my family is a favorite past time. Seeing the creations they make and sharing our creations with others sure brings the Christmas spirit. by AndovercookiemamaThen there is the singing of carols. Every year we head down to the Energy Solutions Arena to join in the annual Christmas Carol sing a long. It is always packed. Their is a symphony that plays the carols and the words appear on the screen. At the end Santa comes. It is one of my favorite Christmas activities.
by Stormyafternoon Making a gingerbread village is also a joy. They all start the same but by the end each is unique and festive.
by The Cookie ShopMaking homemade ornaments is a fun activity. And sure to creat many happy memories. My tree is full of memories because we make some kind of homemade ornament every year.
by Leslie and Sara And then of course the lights. Dressing up warm and visiting Temple Square where the lights never fail to awe and delight. Then getting hot cocoa afterwards.
by Troy McCullough These are a few of my favorite Christmas activities. What are yours?
What a happy colorful post! The cookies are adorable!!
Pretty much anything with a lot of christmas music. I am more the O Holy Night type than the I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus type. Last night we went to a beautiful presentation put on here locally and I woke this morning with music in my heart. Merry Christmas!
We love watching the classic Christmas movies.
You are making me miss Salt Lake! We used to go to see the lights on Temple Square every year, and get hot cocoa afterwards at the mall across the street. (which is now gone). Times change, but happy memories remain.
Love your post, those cookies and the heart ornaments. It was a tradition in our family to bake cookies after Thanksgiving day. Now that we all live in different states I miss that. Have a very Merry Christmas!
You have found some simply wonderful "good" according to this post!! What wonderful goodies and fun!!! 😎
I so miss going to see the lights at the temple! The Arizona temple in my case. I went every year, and listened to the carolers whatever night it was that I got there. Sigh. Now the closest temple is about 3 hours away, which still isn't as awful as it could be, but more than just a night out for lights. So go see them for me, too. I loved reading your tradition post. I had to make almost all my ornaments this year, because I'm starting over, but I did have some that friends had made for me the last few years and this year. Really makes it a great tree. Love your hearts! Tutorial when you have time?
