My Star Spangled with the tutorial here, in case you want to make one, is now a flimsy. I’m hoping to get a back for it later today and get it basted. I’ve discovered spray basting and I must say I really like how quick it is. This new method should help me get a bunch of quilts I have a the flimsy stage moved along a bit faster.
I spay baste them on my outside back wall. So I’m waiting for the sun to pass over so I can do it in the shade. While I wait I’m putting together packets for my ‘Sting Me Along’ bee. I’m hoping with these fine ladies help this quilt will be a flimsy soon.
I’m making it a queen size so I need a lot of blocks. My son, Josh, is patiently waiting for it for is his bed. Maybe he’ll get lucky and get if for Christmas this year. Sure didn’t make if last year.
That is going to be a nice quilt! The colors are great! I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Oh LOL! I didn't mean to make it into a rhyme!
That turned out beautifully. I love it and the next one is also going to be spectacular. I love those colors together.
I don't know what I would do without basting spray. Today was the first time I thread basted a quilt in years and that was because I took it off my floor frame to put it in a hoop.
Love your flimsy! Spray basting is the best, isn't it? But I still have a whole stack of quilts to baste. The breen and blue quilt is going to be beautiful! Hope Josh gets it for Christmas.

totally adore the star quilt…ADORE! So here is how lazy I am right now…I have been sending all my quilts off to be quilted. Totally am loving it (though I dont have any back yet….)!
