N finished up his leadership requirement for his Eagle Scout. Now all he needs is his board of review and he will have his Eagle. So I got busy and finished quilting and binding his eagle quilt. I’m pretty please with N and his quilt. It will hand proudly on his wall, a reminder of what he has accomplished and inspiration to aim high in the future.
I quilted clouds in the sky, pebbles in the mountain and his name, scout motto, and oath in the border.
To celebrate we will be linking up with Sarah. Make sure you visit her and see what others are celebrating in the way of quilty finishes.
What a cool project! Love the phrase at the bottom!
LOVE your quilting & of course, the quilt too! Whoop Whoop!
It is such a wonderful idea and I know he will cherish it for years.
Awesome Emily
great quilt! & congrats to the soon-to-be eagle Scout!
Great quilt! I love your quilting. Congratulations to N.
Please congratulate your son for me on earning his Eagle Award. That is quite an accomplishment. The quilt you made for him is wonderful. You are such a great mom!
Congrats to him. My youngest almost made it, but, things happened to keep him from finishing. Now he is in Venturing and holds a district position. Lovely quilt.
Hi Em, I'm new to your blog via flicker. I found your Twinkling star blocks and fell in love with them. Was there a specific pattern you used and if so would you please share it. I'd love to make a quilt out of those blocks.
Thanks for all the inspiration!
