I have a pile of quilts that I basted and needed to quilt. For Christmas a couple of my friends gave me safety pins. A wonderful gift as far as I’m concerned. I used to run out while basting quilts. Now I can have several quilts basted and still have pins to spare.
A few of these quilts spoke to me. I appreciate when this happens, figuring out how to quilt my quilts is a struggle for me. This scrap friendly quilt wanted organic lines first going one way then the other. I really like the texture this created.
While pursuing my continuous line board on Pintrest I found this design by Film in the Fridge. I feel the addition of the leaves through the dogwood pattern is perfect.
I made my leaves a little different. Here is a close up of my rendition.
That is a pretty quilting design. I'm going to have to remember that for one of my future quilts.
