Happy Labor Day! Hope you are enjoying your long weekend. Today I’m off to Fort Bridger for a Mountain Man Rendezvous with my family. My great grandparents homesteaded near there and this is a tradition I love. I enjoy all the artisans sharing their crafts in the traditions of the past.
Speaking of traditions from the past, my garden is producing like crazy. A great blessing that can feel a little overwhelming. If your like me you are on the hunt for recipes to keep it from going to waste. Today I thought I’d share my fresh salsa recipe.
Fresh Salsa
1- green pepper chopped
3-4 cups chopped tomato
1 small onion finely minced
1-2 Anaheim peppers chopped
1 garlic clove crushed
salt to taste
Combine and enjoy!
That salsa looks fantastic. Aren't gardens great…..and at times overwhelming???
Nothing better than fresh salsa! The best reason to grow tomatoes (in my opinion anyway!)
Did you save some salsa for me? Looks delicious.
Most salsas are a very healthy addition to your diet.
