Garden in Winter

Monday we received 18″ of snow.  Isn’t it pretty?

But not so fun to travel in so I spent time in my sewing room finishing up my garden quilt.  Poor Spike the snow is deeper than he is tall.  Hubby had to shovel a path for him in the backyard.  Which also made a great place to take a picture, although Anna had a hard time holding it up above the snow.

But the biggest celebration this week, better than the quilt and snow is a new fridge.  We knew ours was on it’s last leg and had purchased one on Cyber Monday.  I scheduled the soonest delivery date and hoped the fridge would last.  Sadly it died the next day and we have been two weeks without a fridge.  Fortunately the cool temperatures have worked to our advantage.  But we were thrilled yesterday morning when our new fridge arrived.

Linking up with Sarah and Amanda Jean to celebrate.

Enjoy that new fridge. How did you get magnets to stick on the front? Is it stainless steel?

looks like you are getting our snow ration….it's in the 40s and 50s here in midcoast maine….and we are quite happy with that, hoping it lasts but knowing it won't…

Goodness, that winter wonderland is gorgeous! We so rarely get snow here in La. that just a tiny bit puts us in a tizzy. Your quilt is just stunning. It's such a fun contrast to the backdrop.
