My garden has been keeping me busy. Making it hard to find time for my garden quilt. But little by little I’ve been adding to it. I added a rake and hoe, a hat to wear in my garden, and a song to sing. The little squares I had leftover for the inside border only got me halfway around the outside. So I pulled out my bits again and made a bunch more. I got carried away. That’s okay, I’m sure the extras will find a home somewhere else.
Now to find time to quilt and bind it. I was a little worried about finding a binding to go with my scrappy border but I’m thinking a nice green will work. Any thoughts?
I love the assortment of backgrounds in this fun quilt!!!
Yes, Green is Good..I would do it…Beautiful quilt…love the whimsy.

Sweet! This turned out lovely 🙂
Love this quilt so much. Really fun! Green should work great for a binding. It looks like you have lots of options!
what a sweet quilt!
This quilt makes me so happy . . . green or blue . . . colors of the great outdoors.
Beautiful!! Very special. The fabric in your bird would make a nice binding…:-)
That is fabulous!
Today was not the best of days, but seeing this quilt makes it all good. What a fun happy quilt. Quilting is like gardening isn't it? Working, tending and nurturing something for a worthwhile end. Green would be great, or maybe purple like the hat.
So much fun!! Any color you choose for the binding will look great!
Loving this garden quilt! So much to look at. I especially like the pieced background.
So pretty!
Oh, yes! Green would be perfect! I love it!
