I’m heading back to school today wish me luck. Before I go I just wanted to let you know about a great givaway. The wonderful and talented Jackie, that I featured last week for her wonderful fabric, is having a generous give away. She is giving away a GO Cutter. Is that cool or what? I’ve been ogling these for sometime now. I know I will eventually get one but must admit I’m hoping to win one. It wouldn’t be very nice of me if I didn’t let you know about it even if it lessens my chance at winning. So head over to Jackie’s for a go at this cool gadget.
No sewing pictures today other than the Go because I spent the weekend taking care of the bounty my garden is producing. And since you probably have a counter full of veggies yourself you don’t need to see mine. Suffice it to say I’ve dried pears and apricots. Made apricot jam and nectar. And I have a bucket full of pepper and I’m just waiting to get enough tomatoes to make salsa. May your garden be bounteous but not overwhelming. Have a great day!

Hi Em, Thanks for posting about the giveaway!! I wish you all the best of luck in the drawing. I hope you have a great day back at school today. And boy, I wish I had a garden so that I could do what you are doing with your fruits and veggies. Yummy!
Hey….good luck with school!
What is your secret to keep your fruit from browning? I've tried them all when I have done it and am never completely pleased.
Yippie! This is such great news. I went to the grocery store so in a way I do have a counter filled with vege's and fruit (sorta). Excited about school, Em. Do you know I'm thinking of doing that as well. Starting in Sept.
Oh, blocks on the way. Both months. Good for it! 🙂
We also have a grundle of peppers but not enough tomatoes to do the salsa yet. My hubby spent the last two days picking, washing, dicing and freezer bagging our peppers because we were so worried about losing them. So, my freezer looks beautiful with all the different colors of peppers fresh frozen laying in there. Now it's just wait!!! Well, not exactly…we are doing pickles today…my hubby is anyway. I'm recovering from surgery last week and can't help much but I'm doing what I can. I can't WAIT to get to the salsa though. Now I'm hoping the tomatoes will wait until I'm able to help 100%. We'll see, LOL. Thanks for the heads up on the Go! giveaway and Good Luck to YOU!!! Both for school and the giveaway. If you haven't already heard…Mary at quilthollow.com is also giving away a GO! Head on over there when you can. Hugs!
Thanks for sharing about the giveaway! I love looking at all the stuff you've been making lately. The "Be Smart" banner looks GREAT!
