Going, Going Gone with Hexigones

I saw these cuties on Flying Blind On A Rocket Cycle and thought they were just so darn cute.  But really had no desire to make my own.

 Then in St. George one of the ladies in my class showed me some hand piecing she was doing.  It was lovely.  She told me how much she enjoyed it.  That is was a great project to keep with her and do while she waited at Dr. offices, watched kids games, etc. That got me thinking.  Maybe I should get me a hand project.  I do enjoy them.  They relax me.   Then I saw these on Nellie’s Niceties and she had free templates.   And I was hooked.

 She does hers English paper pieced.  I found the star point fiddly with that method.  So I’m just hand piecing mine.  I started by cutting out enough to getting me started.

 Then sat back and enjoyed stitching one.
