I basted my Dream quilt last week. Quilted clouds all over it. Then sewed the binding on one way so I would have some hand work to do on our road trip. Nothing makes the miles fly by like binding a quilt. Not to mention the calming effect it has. Especially when you have a teenage driver driving. Not that he is a bad driver. Jut not being in control while he is driving sometimes makes me nervous. I really wish I had a brake on my side of the car at times. But he got us there safe and sound and the quilt is done.
Very pleased with his one. Time to start another improv quilt. Maybe the flower one I’ve got floating around in my head. What fun projects do you have floating in your head? I would love to hear about them.
Maybe that idea floating in your head could be entered in the McCall’s Quilt Design Star™ 2012 contest? The prizes are great! Quilty things, money and sewing machines. Make sure you check it out. It should be fun.
