I hope everyone had a lovely Mother’s Day. I must admit I love being a mother. I am so proud of my four children. Seeing them grow into responsible adults and accomplish great things makes my heart sing. What also makes my heart sing is the lovely mail I’ve been receiving. The quilty hugs for Happy Chemo have been rolling in thanks in large part toSarha’s Hand2Help . I just received this beauty from Carol E @ Giraffe Dreams.
And these two cuties from Kathleen @ Quilting professor. The quilting on the blue and orange one is fabulous.
I also received a lovely thank you from a patient who received a Happy Chemo quilt. Let me share a little of it with you.
“…it is amazing and I am the envy of the Stanford infusion center, where I am being treated for liver cancer! It keeps me warm and makes me feel very special at this difficult time. I can’t thank you enough.”
Thank you to everyone who helps bring comfort to those in need. Getting notes like this just makes my day and makes me wish I could do so much more. I appreciate all of you who enable me to help so many more than I could by myself. And while I am handing out thank yous. Look what else came in the mail today; the lovely Denyse Schmidt fabric you all helped me to locate.
I truly appreciate all who helped me track it down. Can’t wait to make more blocks for my rendition of my Great Grandma Ida’s quilt.
Thanks for posting a pic of my quilt. It looks lovely hanging on your porch.
It does sound like a happy mail day!
Catching up here…love the projects.
I just sent out my H2H quilt to you yesterday. It will come from Ann Wight at BunkHouse Quilts.
Thanks for taking on this wonderful responsibility!
