This last weekend we redecorated my DD’s room. Thanks in large part to Victoria redoing her daughter’s room. We headed to Home Depot where she picked out paint. Honeydew green was her choice. We also got hardware for shades and valances. We stopped at JoAnn’s for a few decorating supplies and then we got busy. We painted walls and trim
Created these fun wall hangings from stretched canvas, paint, and stencils
Sewed new valances and hung shades.
Added the Hippie Trails quilt to the bed along with a few throw pillows.
And we now have a cheerful new bedroom for one happy teen.
Love the sixties theme. I went through the sixties and saw Love and Peace in person in Haight-Asbury in San Francisco. I was a gawker like everyone else. I was a suburban girl from Siicone Valley.
What a terrific, teenager bedroom. I love the color, I just painted my daughter's room a similar color. It's soothing and still bright and happy all at the same time.
And I love that quilt!
Perfect! She's going to love every minute spent in there. 🙂 blessings, marlene
YAY!!!! Love the art work you guys made too! So cute and Hippie! I mean, Happy! 😉
