It Just Won’t Stop

I finished this quilt earlier in the week and have tried all week to photograph it but the snow just won’t stop. So I braved the weather and shot my Happy Hour quilt in the snow.  I don’t know if you can see them but little flakes are falling

 I quilted little bubbles in an all over design. Just thought it appropriate for the title of the quilt.

As you can see it has snowed so much that the flower heads I left for the birdies to nibble on have been covered.

 So for activity days (the activities I do with the 8-11 year old girls at my church) we made bird feeders. I think the weather kept many of the girls away. I was a little worried about getting the ones that did come home. It was practically a blizzard on Monday. Luckily I followed a snowplow up the hill and got everyone home safe and sound.

 Anyhow, I had a bunch of birdie food leftover. So DD and her friend made a bunch of feeders for our yard. Can you see them scattered in the tree branches?

Now the poor little birdies won’t starve. Despite all this snow I’m not tired of winter. It is my favorite season. I think the snow is pretty. Besides a warm shower with my Sun and Sand Soap takes me to sunny places each morning.  I can’t tell you how much I’m lovin’ the way it smells. I think at the moment it’s my favorite. Though I’m looking forward to Groovy Love being done next week so I can try it. Linking up with Sarah, Amanda Jean and Cynthia to celebrate my snowy finish.
