Just Like Christmas

I was thrilled when Nanette invited me to lunch with some of her other friends. Just getting to have some fun girl time with Nanette is enough to brighten any day. She is such a kind and generous person so it shouldn’t have surprised me when lunch became more like Christmas morning. Not only is Nanette very generous so are her friends.

Look at this delightful tree Rae Ann made. It is decorated so sweetly with all things quilty. How cute is that spool on top?

Susann made these Victorian style gift tags. I don’t know if I can part with them. I might have to use them as ornaments, something Nanette suggested. She is so clever.

This cute little clutch was made by Kim. I’m loving these giant flying geese. And I am very impressed by the zipper closure. I am zipper phobic. I avoid them like the plague. They seem so hard to me. I was privileged to get to sit next to Kim and get to know her a little better. She is so sweet and I’m so glad I found her bog, Bity Bits and Pieces. Go check it out! You won’t be disappointed. The very talented Lori of Bee in my Bonnet had this sweet gift to share. How did she know I love hot cocoa? And there was Dove peppermint bark. Now that is some good stuff. I think I’m addicted. The mug is darling with the dots and look at the ever so cute jacket Lori made for it. Last but surely not least this adorable purple dotted mug (that I’m going to have to keep an eye on or DD is for sure to steal it.) and YES MORE HOT COCOA!!!!! WEEEE!!! Let me tell you it was very yummy. Thank you Nanette for everything; the cute mug, new friends, and a delightful afternoon.

Em, please forgive my blunder in my first post. I know you aren't Sara…LOL, sometimes my mind seems to skip a beat or something. So sorry about that. Too many things happening in my head I guess. Hugs, Finn

It was so incredibly fun. I wish I could have stayed longer. My work is really stressful right now. I have problems with juggling I guess. Loved seeing you.
