Tuesday kicked off this years annual Quilt Fest, with meet the teachers. I can’t tell you how thrilling it was to meet Mary Lou Weidman. She has been an inspiration to me for years now. I love her use of color and whimsical style. And for the next to days I will get to learn from this amazing quilter. Can’t tell you how excited I am!
When the board asked if I wanted to teach this year. I told them yes as long as it was not during a time Mary Lou was teaching. So after learning from Mary Lou during the day, I’ll be teaching my Mad Dash and Stellar Stars Caught In A Web at night. I look forward to sharing these two with the wonderful quilters in my classes.
It’s going to be a fun filled weekend. I’m almost ready. I just need to decide on which background
I will use for Mary Lou’s class.
Whatever I choose I know it’s going to be great!
We had her earlier this year and she is fabulous. Have fun and good luck with your teaching too.
I wish you all the fun of your life. This sounds great.
Greetings,
Sylvia
