Do your quilts talk to you? Whisper in your ear the path they want to take? Mine do. For instance my improvisational garden quilt has let me know what flowers I should include. Where to place them. What kind of stems my flowers need. I still need to add that part, but I do know the direction she wants me to go with them.
I’m waiting now to hear if she needs a bolder voice through words. Maybe something like ‘Blossom’ or ‘Grow.’ Does she want to make a statement? ‘Bloom where your planted” or Be your own kind of beautiful.’ She quite decided on these thing yet. So I’ll patiently wait while she contemplates on my design wall. Listening and waiting to see what she wants to become.

I have a quilt on the design wall that insisted it NOT have a border. I listened, just like EF Hutton! Can't wait to hear the rest of the story you quilt tells you.
