I just wanted to share a few more lovely quilts from my guild Christmas party. This lovely quilt was made by Marleen.
And this fun quilt by my dear friend Suzy.
Who also made this disappearing nine patch.
And this gorgeous scrappy quilt.
Then her and Sue made these quilt together. They made blocks while Sue was on a job out of state. So each month they made two of the same block; one they kept and the other they sent off. They choose their favorite colors for the blocks. Sue’s favorite color is green and Suzy’s is purple. Then they got together to put them together.
I thought this sounded like so much fun. So I would like to try it. Do I have any takers? Anyone interested let me know. I’ll match us up. I have a little girl who signs her little notes with BFF. So I thought it would be fun to call it BFF exchange. (Blocks For Fun)and hopefully you’ll end up with a new BFF (Best Friend Forever) Leave a comment with your favorite color and make sure I have a way to get in touch with you. Let the fun and friendship begin. 🙂
Love to be supporting you. Reds!
It sounds like fun. I have always wanted to do a blue and yellow quilt and this would be a good chance.
What a great show and tell. fun to see what our friends are doing.
Great show and tell Em! Love the scrappy quilt, and the friendship quilts are wonderful!!! Although it would be fun, I shall have to pass on your BFF idea, as I am in the process of organizing a Row Robin for our group, so that will be keeping me busy… Good luck though! Maybe another time! 😎
t sounds like fun.this would be a good chance.
Hi, just read your post, I would like to do the block exchange, this is new to me, what size does the block need to be. This sounds like it would be fun. HAPPY SEWING!
