Sometimes you need a little play as a reward for a finishing a tough job. Every year for the past six years I’ve been in charge of Jr. High carpool. This year was especially tough. I’ve been blessed with more wonderful youth in my life in recent months. Love them all and don’t want to leave anyone out. This being the case carpool was a little tricky. After finally getting everyone’s schedule to work for getting 15 kids to and from school. I popped me some kettle corn and grabbed a pile of scraps.
Then mindlessly began to sew. In no time at all I had the beginning of a background.
A home for a few blue bird dresdens.
The reward of playing with the scraps sounds like just what is needed after the chaotic arranging of carpool schedules.
Oh this is so pretty–nice playtime. Hugs, Julierose

Mindless sewing is fun. Love the bright bird dresden again the soft. Happy sewing.
Love the way this is looking so far.
This looks great, I bet you love playing with your new project.

Sylvia
You are a wonderful youth leader. That is a lot to carpool! And I like your low volume strata.
Wow! Carpooling and free form piecing. Awesome job.
Oh oh oh, I am in LOVE with this piecing and Bluebird DP!!!
