Mad Dash to Quilt Walk

The second weekend each June I head south.  First to Quilt Walk then to my parents to celebrate my mom’s birthday.  This year I will be teaching Mad Dash.

A whimsical quilt made with freestyle churn dashes.  Bring your scraps, a background, and a sense of adventure to this fun class.

Next, I’ll be teaching Sunshine on a Cloudy Day.  This quilt goes together quickly using TOAR.

While I’m enjoying adventures in quilting my hubby and sons are planning on riding motorcycles in Bryce.  DD would join the fun but she get to go to Europe this summer.  Her passport arrived recently and I can’t tell you how fun it was to watch her reaction.  She danced, jumped, and exclaimed ‘it’s starting to feel real now!’ Lots of adventures at our house.  Would love for you join me on mine in Panguitch. My in-laws have had the same generic blue bedspread for 15+ years and will never change it on their own. I'm determined to surprise them with a quilt this Christmas, and out of about 10 pins, my 7 y.o. son chose Bloomin' Peaks, so that'll be the one. I can't wait to shop for fabric 🙂 I'll need a blueish theme to coordinate with their carpet.
