Kierra, a talented 10 year old, I had the privilege of meeting this weekend. Kierra took my No More Boring Borders class with her grandma. Afterward I got to know her better at the quilt show. Here she is next to her quilt. I was not exaggerating when I said she was talented. Isn’t she amazing?!
She chose the fabrics. Her sense of color and design are fabulous. Her grandma helped her with the applique. This sweet girl is going to grow up to be one awesome quilter. She shared with me fabrics she was picking out for her next quilt. I can barely wait for next year to see what she creates.
Only 10 and she already completed her first quilt. Sweet.
I think that is a fabulous quilt and it's wonderful that Kierra has such an early interest in quilting. Great job!!!
How wonderful that she is able to make such a large and detailed quilt already. I agree, she is a natural. Sounds like your classes went well.
She is definitely going to be a star!
It was great to see the small stars up there. I think they get over shadowed to much.
