I’ve had my yarn bomb trees basted for a while now waiting on inspiration to hit. I was drawing a blank on how to quilt it. Finally my muse spoke and I began, pebbles in the sashing
and organic lines in the blocks.
I’m about half way now and I’m loving how it is looking. I’m hoping to finish it up today and get a binding ready so I can bind it while I’m at Bryce.
That’s my little bit of progress.
Looking forward to seeing yours. Link up and share. It always inspires me.
I have been working on my scrappy stars and moving them forward with sashing and rows being put together – hope to get more done today.
Great progress – glad you figured out how you wanted to quilt it ( I get stumped there too sometimes)
I love the yarn bombed trees, being a knitter and a quilter. Cutest idea ever!!! Great choice in pebbling. It does take awhile, so hold steady.
That's really cute. Love the yarn bomb trees and the quilting.
I love your yarn bomb trees! Have fun at Bryce, always so beautiful there.
Looking good!
Love your trees! I am so jealous that you are going to Bryce! I haven't been able to attend that retreat for a couple of years. I hope that I will be going next year! Can't wait to hear all about it!
PS As a knitter I like the idea of yarn bombing, but I abhor violence, so I call it Yarn Graffiti! Putting art out into the world!
Adorable trees – can't wait to see the finish!
Getting the idea is half the work. Love the concept of the yarn-bomb trees. Claire aka knitnkwilt
