I’m a little late this morning. I was hoping I’d have a little more progress. I’ve been working on getting a few Quilty Hugs quilted. I had accumulated quite a pile and I know that tomorrow at the sew in a few more will most likely be added. I finished these two scrappy beauties. On I did quick and dirty the other I tried a new design I had seen on YouTube. These quilty hugs are a good way for me to practice and improve my quilting. Though I must admit that often I opt for the quick and dirty rather than the improve my skill option.
I got started on this half square triangle one but have a ways to go before it is finished. Hoping today I might get it done. But everyone is still on break and that leaves little time for me to escape to my sewing machine and quilt.
Has the holiday break blessed you with time to sew and create? If so I’d love to see what your moving along.
Link up and show us your progress.
I've been moving it forward all weekend and have my sewing room all packed up and moved to other parts of the house – should be ready for the sewing re-do at the end of the week – this is going to take awhile – hubby is doing the work LOL – 2 months? 3? 4?
You're doing great! I get even the easy quilting helps you reinforce skills you already have. I have been quilting my daisy's quilt. I linked to the year end recap because I haven't finished or shown the quilt yet.
Thanks for the great link up! Love your finishes!
It's so much easier to rely on the well-known quilt designs we've got nailed down, isn't it? But a pat on the back for getting those done and trying something new! (Now to push myself, lol.)
P.S. Thanks for the linkup!
I was blessed with time to quilt and just discovered you. Added you to my Feedly and linked up!
