I was finally able to get in some quality time with my sewing machine this week. It felt so good. I probably should have been working on one of my already started projects but I didn’t. I started a new project instead. Insert evil grin here. I don’t even have an empty project box to put it in. I know I’m so naughty. But you can never have too many projects, right?
First I made this pile of maverick stars.
Then I chain, chain, chained. (go ahead sing along)
These mini courthouse step blocks.
So even if this is a new project I did move it quite a bit along. Now it’s your turn. What did you move forward this week. Looking forward to seeing your progress. And we can be partners in crime if you also started a new project.
The sawtooth star block is a favorite block that I like to make. So much you can do with them.
I'm linking to my post from yesterday where I made a big move forward and finished my Postage Stamp quilt top – now ready to quilt as soon as I get the current quilt off of the handquilting frame.
I did indeed add a new project – pieces and parts that were gifted by a friend. OH, what fun!!!
Now that's a big heap o' stars, Em! good going! Thanks for the linky party, too!
Isn't it fun to have quality time in the sewing room. So many things to finish AND so many things to start.
I've moved four projects along, I'm pretty pleased! I need to quilt three more rows then I can free up the last of my bent safety pins. They will be ready for when I move my grey/turquoise/black and white project along!
