I chose this week to move along my wonky bee blocks. The wonderful ladies in my Sew Bee Wonky group made these blocks for me back in 2014.
There were not quite enough to make my quilt as big as I wanted it to be so I had fun going through my bins and finding fabrics that would work and cutting them up.
Next I slashed and sewed my blocks. You can find my method here. Soon I had two nice piles of wonky blocks.
Because this method creates a rectangular block and I wanted more options than just putting them in rows, I squared my blocks up.
Next step, play with arrangement. But that will have to wait for another day.

Now it’s your turn. What were you able to move along the road to completion? Can’t wait to see. Don’t forget to link back. Thanks!
Your wonky blocks look like fun. 🙂
I can't wait to see how this looks. This is a great way to sew up scraps. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
That looks like lots of fun — but I don't even have to try to make my blocks look wonky; it's a natural talent 😉 Thanks for the link-up!
I just love the title "moving it forward!" Just the title motivates me every time I see these posts!
