Do you remember all those quarter square triangles I cut from my scrap bins? Well on Tuesday at the Quilty Hug Sew In they got made into these hour glass blocks. I’m thinking the tomato fabric you see peeking through the blocks will make a nice sashing. I still have a few more to sew up before I get to that point though. Soon though soon, at least I’m hoping.
Now it’s your turn to share your progress.
Can’t wait to see how you are moving things along. It is always so inspiring.
always nice to move things forward! I finished my queen size quilt that I was machine quilting on the machine all week – so glad to have that done – now on to the binding.
Oh aren't those fun fabrics!
Such happy fabrics, as always. Your projects are such an inspiration. I was searching this morning for tutorials for making quarter square triangles. What method do you use?
ooh! Your quarter triangles are looking pretty!
Can't wait to see what you do with those.
Looks like you've been busy. My scraps are so disorganised, what I want to know is how do others organise their scraps. Do you cut them into squares and strips or leave them in a jumble? Do you organise them into colours or like me a big mix up?
