July just makes me want to use patriotic colors. So even though the fourth is past I’m feeling the need to play with red, white and blue. Sweetwater’s new line Freedom for Moda was just what I needed. I cut me a bunch of half square and quarter square triangles to start. I have a plan. More to come later.
Then for no apparent reason I grabbed this Haiku layer cake and cut into it. Getting that necessary evil out of the way (aka cutting) so I can have many hours of fun sewing.
