Moving It Forward

It’s Monday and time for Moving it forward. What were you able to move forward this last week?  Did you cut out blocks?  Sew ’em up? Put ’em together? Add some borders? Whatever it was we  want to hear about it so we can cheer you on. A step forward even if it’s a small one is still a step in the right direction.

I spent a lot of time last week ripping.  Questioning my sanity in designing my own patterns instead of letting someone else do the math. But I was able to move my scrappy trip around the world forward just a little.  I did get it basted. Like I said a step forward even if it’s a small one is still a step in the right direction. Which felt so good after all those steps backward.

Now it’s your turn.  Link up and share your progress. Please remember to link back.  Use the button if you like.  Code is on the side bar.

I got one more applique block finished and some circles prepped for another project – I don't envy you ripping something out – I always hate having to do that.

Those are such frustrating days! One of these days I am going to make a Scrappy Trip. I love seeing them.

I want to make a scrappy trip someday too. So many projects, so little time. Yours is lovely.

Ripping out is just the worst! Glad you got past it on to the basting though.

Yay, you are still moving forward! I like your colors. I have some of that fabric with cherry picking kids but with a different color background. I just love it.

I work during the week so do hand work at night and do most of my real moving forward on quilts on the weekends.

Basting is a big job. Takes a long tome for me. This week I had the flu but I did manage to pull fabric.
I like your thinking, it's a small one is still a step in the right direction.
