January when the days are cold and gray is the prefect time to pull out something bright and cheerful to sew on. So that is just what I did.
It’s amazing how these happy colors can take the January blahs away. Soon your singing along with your favorite tunes as your sewing machine joins in with a steady hum. And before you know it you have lots of pretty units,
to add to your spinning wheels.
Now it’s your turn. What were you able to move along. I know a lot of you got snow days. Hope they found you snug, warm, and sewing merrily along.
Please remember to link back so others can see how everyone is progressing. Thanks!
Loving the happy colors 🙂 the quilt looks fantastic!

Your work table looks like mine did yesterday. It was my first try at string piecing… LOVE it! Your colors are great and further inspiration to me. Thanks for the link up!
mmmmm….you'll notice I"m moving a lot forward right now…LOL!! I too always love your color combinations.
Your Spinning Wheels reminds me of a picture my grand-daughter showed me recently of a quilt she wants. She would like your quilt very much. A wonderful quilt.
That would take any winter blues away…..so pretty.
Good way to chase away the blues! Love the fabric you used for the kites. Do you use a foundation for your Spider Webs?
I agree, no better way to chase away the blues than with bright fabrics. Looking at others bright projects works also, thanks for sharing and inspiring!
These are pretty colors – the perfect fabric to blow away the winter drabs.
Your sewing table makes it look spontaneous, but the quilt shows the perfect organization needed for this beautiful pattern. Well done.
Your colors are so gorgeous! Cheerful and bright! I got started on three My Small World quilts for the grands – a year-long project!
What a pretty quilt this will be! Scrappy and happy!
