My kids were complaining that there was nothing to eat in the house. So I made cookies yesterday. Before school let out this cookie jar was so full I couldn’t put the lid on. No wonder I have nothing to eat at my house. They devour it as fast as I can make it. I cleaned up my sewing area. Look you can see the table. A-MAZE-ZA ZING! Now that is a rare occasion. I’m ready for some fun, fun creating.
But first I needed to quilt the Friday Block Party. My guild meeting is next week and I need it done for my charity birthday gift. I finished the quilting last night and now I just need to bind it.
I have one other quilt I need to get quilted before the new creative projects can take place. I’m hoping to get it done today.
You are being very productive getting that quilting done! Please inspire me to do the same.
I’ve never seen a sewing table like that! Of course, maybe it’s because everyone who has one hasn’t cleaned theirs up yet!
Happy hearts and tummies at your house! I like your sewing table and that charity quilt is sooo pretty.
Good for you – a clean sewing space!!
Good luck getting the other quilt finished. Love the colours you chose in this one. It’s good when you can clear the runway of older projects. Your grandma saying made me smile- so sweet and true.
Em,
Your quilting is fantastic. I enjoyed clicking on that photo and taking a peek at it. You really are awesome.
Ah, a straightened up sewing space is always so inviting! The block party quilt is very nice – I really like the colorful playful nature of it.
I find that my baking always disappears quickly too! Love the big table extension you have for your machine – must make quilting a dream.
I hear you on how fast baking disappears! Breads and muffins go just as fast here too! Love the quilt you just got done quilting – very bright and cheerful
